Summary of the Chirality Research Program at the University of Canberra |
Enantiomeric or enantioslective analysis is the
core of CHIRALITY. The success of any asymmetric/enantioselective catalysis to access enantiomerically pure compounds is heavily
relying on the accurate determination of the enantiomeric excesses (ee).
Our group is focusing
on the asymmetric/enantioselective catalysis using either metal or enzyme catalysts followed by an accurate determination
of the enantiomeric excesses using different analytical techniques (e.g. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas
Chromatography (GC) and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE).
